White Lights Media are on the lookout for a Media Producer to join and become a vital part of our small team in an initial three-month contract. This role will be dynamic and varied, and may adapt to your skillset.

This is a home-based role, with frequent travel to Powerlifting events spanning from one day to two weeks. As such, an interest in powerlifting is essential, and the job would be best suited to someone who has the flexibility to travel frequently. You can be based anywhere in the mainland UK; access to a car is desirable, and a passport is essential.

The Role

The role is adaptable based on your skillset and fit within the team, but you can expect to:

Event work:

- Photograph athletes
- Film athletes
- Manage and organise data
- Edit content
- Conduct sales and interact with customers
- Set up camera and live-streaming equipment
- Organise and conduct video shoots/interviews with athletes

Work from home:

- Editing photo packages
- Editing three-lift montage videos
- Executing online orders, updating order sheets, consulting with the team
- Editing long form YouTube content
- Customer service
- Planning for events
- Creating visuals and graphics

The skills

While we’re open to applications from people with a can-do attitude and willingness to learn new skills, the role requires the majority of the following skills:

Hard skills:

- Shooting photos
- Shooting video
- Understanding of camera functions and menu systems, ideally from multiple brands
- Photo editing (Lightroom)
- Video editing (ideally Da Vinci Resolve, but other software is fine too)
- Graphic design (Photoshop, Canva, etc.)

Soft skills:

- Working very well in a team environment (using your initiative, self sufficiency, professional communication, supporting colleagues, and being an active member of the team).
- Ability to manage your own time while working from home
- Excellent and proactive communication skills with management and peers.
